In this project, a cat's color was isolated against a black-and-white background by duplicating layers, desaturating the bottom layer, and using a layer mask on the top one. Finally, discrete white text with the date and author's name was added, and the file was saved in both .xcf and JPG formats.

Mosaic
Samuel
To create the mosaic, a square frame was designed and duplicated into a 3x3 grid to hold nine different imported photos. Each image was cropped and resized to fit its frame perfectly, and then a unique filter (like blur or black and white) was applied to each one to complete the final design.

In this project, GIMP was used to remove the original sky from an image and replace it with a new one. Additionally, four animals were incorporated into the scene: two eagles flying in the sky and two cheetahs positioned on the beach (one in the bottom-right corner and the other in the top-left).

Kinetic friction
In this project, Excel was used to calculate the coefficient of kinetic friction across 15 experiments, each detailed in its own sheet. A final summary table was created with all the results and published on a blog to share the project's conclusions.
